Description

The DATEQ SPL3TS combines sound level limiting, microphone-based monitoring and a programmable timer for installed audio systems and live performances. Its microcontroller monitors sound levels and adjusts the audio output to maintain the configured limit while preserving musical dynamics.

The built-in clock allows different maximum levels throughout the day, with schedules configured using PC software. A bypass calendar accommodates special events.

For live performances, warning and sanction outputs can work with an optional SRL-1 stage relay to operate a warning light and interrupt power if excessive levels continue. Controls and connections can be sealed after calibration.
